Microchanneling Treatment

Microchanneling therapy is a procedure that rejuvenates the skin by using cone shaped pricks to minimize the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin conditions, which in turn stimulates collagen growth and elastin. This new collagen growth and elastin are what improves the appearance of the skin.

Microneedling Treatment

The primary goal of microneedling is to stimulate the body's natural healing response, promoting the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential proteins for maintaining skin's elasticity and youthful appearance. The controlled micro-injuries created by the needles trigger the body's healing mechanisms, leading to increased blood flow and the generation of new skin cells.

Prior to the procedure, a topical numbing cream is often applied to minimize discomfort. The microneedling device is then applied to the skin, creating controlled micro-injuries. After the procedure, the skin might be slightly red and sensitive, similar to a mild sunburn, but this usually subsides within a day or two.  For optimal results, multiple sessions of microneedling may be recommended, spaced several weeks apart. It's important to follow post-procedure care instructions provided by the practitioner, including avoiding excessive sun exposure and using gentle skincare products.

Microdermabrasion Treatments

Another one of Katura’s most popular advanced skin care treatments for skin resurfacing. It begins with a deep cleansing, skin analysis, then an exfoliation utilizing natural diamond chips plated to a stainless-steel surgical wand that effectively polishes away dead skin layers to expose healthier skin, promote new growth, and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brown spots, scars, and acne blemishes. The resurfacing is followed by a Hydrating Mask, extractions and an antioxidant treatment that replenishes natural lipids.
